G70 Track Attack: Introducing a New Level of High-Performance Driving

Concept Cars: Zenvo Denies Plans to Mass-Produced the G70 Track Day

Danish supercar manufacturer Zenvo has unveiled a series of concept cars based on their G70 model, which is designed specifically for track days.

The production version of the Track Day is expected never see the light of day. Instead, Zenvo has focused its attention on perfecting the design and performance aspects.

Exterior Design

One of the most striking features of the Track Day concept car is its revised front air dam, featuring a prominent lip below which tapers to pointed flaps in a triangular shape to enhance frontal downforce. The headlights are unchanged from conventional models but now sport an ominous amber light source. Surrounding base areas gain notched LED strips for improved lighting visibility.

The Track side profile gains a vibrant orange stripe emulating the red stripes visible on one of Zenvo's fleet cars – namely, rented at the Nurburgring Nord Schleife track that the new concept is directly named after. Customized alloy wheels and bigger brakes come with performance upgrades.

On back, these are similar to those provided for their race-tuned counterparts from another company in Europe. A fairly simple rear underside design offers minimal lift reduction with less prominent diffuser features.

Performance and Technology

Engine-wise, the mass-produced Track Day is intended to employ a mighty 3.3-liter V6 powerhouse that will produce an estimated 373 horsepower. Peak torque sits around 510 Nm and is backed up with a ZF 8-speed sequential manual with paddle-shift capabilities.

While specific track-related details are not being released by the manufacturer, one can anticipate better suspension geometry and reduced noise levels compared to production models which already offer advanced stability features for on-track excursions.
