LD Autos Introduces the L90 SUV with Five Color Options and Advanced Technologies
Chinese car brand LD Autos has unveiled its brand-new large-size SUV, the L90, featuring a new body color scheme that will be available in five options: cloud white, rocky brown, celestial silver, Jinsha black, and Snow Peak White.
The new vehicle is expected to go into pre-sale in early July and will see exhibition at numerous dealerships nationwide. The design of the new model adheres to the family-style design aesthetic and features a distinctive front fascia with an "Star Road Flourishing" intelligent interaction lighting system that boasts adaptive dynamic beam functionality, including self-tuning headlights, dynamic adaptive roundabout lights, adaptive sign recognition, welcoming passengers, and inter-transaction scenarios for various scenes.
Among the notable aspects of the vehicle's interior is its spacious 240-liter cargo compartment ahead, providing ample space to accommodate two or more sets of luggage in varying sizes. Furthermore, the official introduces that this forward compartment utilizes intelligent touch controls, which can be opened with a smartphone app, physical button, smart Bluetooth keyfob, voice command within the cabin, and digital screen control options.
Looking at the profile side view of the L90 SUV reveals not only aerodynamic handling thanks to the concealed manual lever door handle but also an integrated tail light system that gives it an imposing appearance while maximizing airflow coefficients. Additionally, dimensions show it measuring 5145mm in length x 1998mm in width x 1766mm in height.
On top of its long and wide profile is equipped with two high-resolution cameras positioned above, implying the SUV may utilize vision-driven autonomous driving solutions. It features distinct "Lantern Wing" alloy wheel configurations on both front and rear sides - options include sizes such as 255/55 R20 in front and 275/50 R20 or 255/50 R21 with 275/45 R21 at rear wheels, varying according to vehicle type.
Lastly, its powertrain includes the all-encompassing "all-domain 900 volt" three-electric technology system. It also provides both four-wheel drive (rear-wheel drive and four-wheel variations), where front-drive variants boast an electric motor output of up to 100 kW while each-wheel drive will achieve front motor levels at 340 kWh maximum power but back motors varying greatly according to wheel setups.
Lastly, the L90 has incorporated 85 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate or tri-metal-ion battery solutions to provide its all-encompassing driving experience.
