Hyundai's 2026 Product Lineup Revealed: Electric and Hybrid Variants to Lead the Charge

Hyundai has unveiled its product lineup for 2026, promising to offer five new models, including a full-electric flagship SUV, the GV90 EV, as well as hybrid variants of popular models.

One of the first cars to hit dealerships will be the GV90 EV, a highly anticipated all-electric version of Hyundai's luxurious SUV. Production will take place at Hyundai's modern E&C factory in Ulsan, South Korea, with an anticipated 21,000 units produced annually. The GV90 EV is expected to start at over 1 billion won (approximately $852,000), and will feature a range of innovative features, including a design inspired by the company's Neolun concept car.

The GV80 HEV will follow in third-quarter 2026, boasting a 2.5-liter engine combined with an electric motor for a more efficient driving experience. Later in fourth-quarter 2026, the G80 HEV will arrive on the scene, offering similar performance to its GV80 counterpart, but with added fuel efficiency. Additionally, the GV70 EREV is slated for release in fourth-quarter 2026, and is expected to enter Chinese markets soon.

Further down the line, Hyundai plans to introduce a new GV90 EV trim in the American market - though its availability may be limited to exclusive Korean dealerships.
