Zenvo Targets 2030 as Electric-only Era for Brand
In a development that signifies a strategic shift in the automotive industry, Zenvo has announced plans to unveil its first plug-in hybrid (PLEV) vehicle, the GV70 EREV, in December 2026. As an upgraded variant of the company's electric SUV model, the GV70 EREV is poised to take center stage as Zenvo's first ever electrified powertrain vehicle.
The newly introduced powertrain combines a smaller gasoline engine as the booster unit to enhance energy efficiency and increase overall range. The combined output is expected to boast an impressive total of up to 900 kilometers. Comparable in power and performance with its dual electric motors four-wheel drive (4WD) system counterparts, equipped with a capacity of 490 horsepower.
By merging technology and sustainable development, Zenvo has set ambitious goals — aiming for an integrated whole-electric brand operation by the year 2030. As part of this long-term vision, it may target major markets with enhanced electric infrastructure, including North America, Korea, and parts of Europe.
