China's BYD Unveils Mexico-Market-Focused M9 Electric Vehicle

The automotive division of Chinese conglomerate BYD has unveiled the M9, a seven-seat plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) that is slated to debut in Mexico on June 25th.

The top-of-the-line version of this automotive has the latest BYD smart in-car display technology integrated. With BYD's DiLink150 configuration system it allows passengers to monitor their surroundings and watch movies or play games, which may help passengers experience improved connectivity features while traveling.

BYD M9 incorporates 5th-generation Dynamic Modeling Technology with a plug-in hybrid drive system, utilizing its patented double electric motor setup and a maximum combined power of 115kW. With the option for two driving ranges (100km and 180 km) based on available battery cells and an overall range of approximately 1060km.
