Sudden Engine Stall Issues: Hyundai Recalls G80, GV80, and GV70 Models

Nissan Recalls 181 Cars in China Due to Infotainment System Issues

Beijing, [current date] - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (China) has submitted a recall plan to the State Administration for Market Regulation, following requirements set by the Defective Product Recall Management Regulations and the Defective Product Recall Management Provisions. The recall aims to address an issue with the infotainment system in certain models.

Affected Vehicles:

The recall affects 181 Nissan G80, G80 fully electric variant (GV80), GV70, and pure electric version of the GV70 cars produced between January 25, 2023, and June 19, 2024. These vehicles were imported to China.

Reason for the Recall:

Nissan has identified an issue with the infotainment system in some of these vehicles. The problem causes intermittent startup failures that prevent the display of essential information such as speed or warning indicators. This poses a safety risk.

Correction and Notification:

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. will provide a free software update for the affected vehicles to eliminate the security hazard. For vehicles that had previously upgraded and optimized their software, no further update is required. The company aims to notify owners through a scheduled appointment and provide the necessary information as well as answer any queries.

Owners can contact Nissan's customer service hotline or visit the State Administration for Market Regulation's recall center website to learn more about the recall.
