Chinese Electric Vehicle Brand AVATA Reaches Milestone of 150,000 Units Sold
AVATA, a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand, has achieved a significant milestone by selling over 15,000 units of its products as of June 9th. The average price of these vehicles exceeds CNY 27,000.
A new product line is expected to be launched by AVATA in the next few years, which will include a flagship model priced above CNY 1 million, along with entire spectrum of cars such as trunions and MPV. This move aims to cater to the expanding needs of EV users.
AVATA's CEO Chen Zhu stated that "This marks an important milestone for AVATA's brand development. With more solid support in fields like talent, funding, and technology, AVATA is going to strengthen its team, brand image, as well as enhance operational abilities."
The company has officially introduced a new strategy which combines openness with innovative partnerships. Longan Automobile and Nidec Technology are the first and second largest shareholders of AVATA respectively with holding ratios of 40.99% and 14.1%. Huawei is also a partner for providing AVATA with cutting-edge AI and computer technology.
Since its inception, in just three years, AVATA has launched four new car models, including fully electric and hybrid powertrain options across our entire range, offering premium features such as advanced battery systems from Nidec and zero-gravity seats in front of the passenger.
In addition to hardware upgrades, AVATA also maintains continuous software updates at a high pace with 36 OTA upgrades completed already to date.
The upcoming major OTA update promises to enhance user experience on multiple levels. For instance, an extended "Scene-based" feature will be rolled out across all models, along with the launch of advanced Driver Assistance and Parking Features - allowing passengers to interact easily with their vehicle while driving in smart manners with improved AI features and seamless parking features.
As of May 31st, over 700 dealerships have been touched by AVATA thus far, covering more than 212 cities nationwide, achieving a coverage rate as high as 82% at the provincial level.
Overseas on June 8th, AVATA unveiled its plans for expanding its operation to more than 50 countries across Europe Asia.
