Geely's Qixiga M8 and Qixiga M9 Pre-Sales Data Reveals Strong Demand
Geely's Qixiga M8 and Qixiga M9 pre-sales data has been released, showing that the SUVs have generated substantial interest among customers.
According to the data, 6 hours into its pre-sales launch, over 21,000 units of the Qixiga M8 were booked, with a further 28,000 units sold within 12 hours. Meanwhile, for the Qixiga M9, 11,000 units were booked after just 6 hours, and 13.5 million units were reserved by the end of that same period.
The pre-sales campaign for both models officially began on March 6th, with the Qixiga M8 priced at 368,000 RMB (approximately $53,800 USD), while the Qixiga M9 was priced at 478,000 RMB (around $69,500 USD). Both models offer a range of trim levels, including five and six-seat variants.
The Qixiga M8 is positioned as a mid-large size SUV with dimensions measuring 5190 x 1999 x 1795mm, giving it a longer wheelbase than its counterpart, the Qixiga M9. The latter's extended wheelbase boasts an impressive range of features, including advanced driver-assistance packages.
In terms of powertrain, the Qixiga M8 boasts a hybrid system with both front and rear electric motors, paired with a 1.5 T inline-four cylinder engine. The vehicle also offers varying levels of electric-only driving distances, up to 201 kilometers or 310 kilometers via its CLTC certification process.
The Qixiga M9 features an even more extensive list of advanced technologies, including enhanced driver assistance systems and state-of-the-art infotainment options like a three-screen in-car system.
