Alpine Unveils the Future of Electric Performance with A310 and A110 Updates
Alpine has taken a major step forward in its electric vehicle journey, unveiling a sneak peek of its upcoming flagship model, the Alpine A310. The car will be built on the company's new Advanced Performance Platform (APP), which promises to deliver exceptional performance while also expanding passenger space.
The APP, scheduled for release early next year, boasts four distinct variants, one of which is expected to replace the current A110 in 2026. While details are still scarce, it appears that the successor to the A110 will be an all-new sports car showcasing Alpine's commitment to electrification.
Revamped A110
Currently available, the older model A110 has garnered attention for its unique design feature – a layout where the motors are integrated into the wheels, providing more interior space. This cutting-edge approach enables the installation of items in unconventional locations, such as under seats and within the footwells.
Adoption of this advanced technology grants additional structural stability due to added vehicle width; it also supports two-in-line wheel configurations yielding a combined torque rating of 4800 N·m. In the near future, both fully electric Alpine A110s alongside the upcoming luxury vehicle will be equipped with identical system implementations featuring this cutting-edge motor placement.
All-new A310
In the spirit of redefining high-performance driving experiences at its next-generation flagship A310 model scheduled to debut by 2026, the brand promises to build on cutting-edge technology trends and propel performance-oriented luxury vehicles into new markets.
