Baojun 930 Officially Unveiled: Latest Pure Electric Compact SUV from Great Wall Automobile

The flagship model of the Baojun series from Great Wall Automobile has been officially released, marking its entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market. Scheduled to hit the market in the third quarter of this year, the new car is expected to be a game-changer in the compact SUV segment.

With a focus on youthful and futuristic design, the Baojun 930 boasts a rounded appearance, accompanied by quadruple-round headlamps paired with a closed front grille, creating an attractive age-related fashion sense. The horizontal middle air duct incorporates silver decorations, complemented by flow guide slots to create two-suit cabin aesthetic.

Aerodynamically-oriented wheelhouse is displayed through the double-layered color bodywork and A/B/C column scheme which creates floating-style C-pillar visual effect. While charging point location is at left-front roof section door and adopts hand-holding common type. Rounding off, its back end boasts continuous LED front light with big taillamp as well.

Dimensions of car measure 4265mm in length, 1785mm in width, 1600mm high and the final wheelbase is 2610. Positioned for smaller type SUV, accommodating passenger and has a capacity of five seat configuration. From equipment selection to options: adopt two different tires 18-in diameter wheels, mirrors glass at back, sun roof glass etc.

As it relates to power supply, Baojun 930 puts the emphasis on single-engine layout (75kW peak), utilizing an iron-phosphate battery pack for optimal performance. Further details will be disclosed as additional information is gathered.
