GEELY LS7 to Launch on June 16 with New Generation of High-Tech Features

BEIJING, CHINA - The official word has it that the newest version of GEELY's LS7 SUV will be officially launched on June 16.

The LS7 is GEELY's mid-size luxury SUV, currently available in two trims priced at 33.98万元 and 35.98万元. Both vehicles are equipped with a range of new features expected to include advanced tech such as dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with an electric motor unit, four-wheel drive and electronic height adjustment. While specific details have not been released, this iteration is sure to boost engine performance.

New Vehicle Details

Dimensions

The dimensions of new vehicle LS7 have changed from the previous model, measuring 5049/2002/1731（1784）mm (length, width, and height), with a total length-to-width to body height ratio. Comparing with the new LS7. The rear overhang length is bigger compared to old design but remains in proportion.

Configuration The previous model of the car LS7 currently features a range LED strip mounted below centre screen as part of interior. Inside there's also an extra 15.5-inch secondary monitor attached on the passenger side console.

Powertrain

Electric Motor Powertrain Overview

• A single electric motor driven four-by-four configuration:
  • Single motor, rear-wheel-drive vehicle: Up to 300kW power output and 475N·m peak torque.
  • Double motors and all-wheel drivetrain setup: Peak output of up to 579kW.

Comparison

For comparison, the current two LS7 models currently available have single electric motor drive configuration with 250kW maximum power and 475Nm in terms of torque at peak stage.
