Chery Completes 300,000th Export of New Energy Vehicles to Indonesia

May 26, 2023 - Beijing, China - China's largest automaker, SAIC Motor's subsidiary Chery Automobile, has formally completed the export of its 300,000th new energy vehicle to Indonesia, marking a significant milestone in the company's globalization strategy.

The achievement not only solidifies Chery's position as the leading new energy vehicle manufacturer in Indonesia but also demonstrates the company's commitment to the country's growing market. Since entering the Indonesian market, Chery has actively established a production-making-research-and-development (Produce) ecosystem, covering all aspects of production, manufacturing, research and development, and sales.

To meet the increasingly demanding requirements of Indonesian consumers, Chery continuously optimizes its new energy vehicle product matrix, introducing variants such as Air EV, Binguo EV, and Cloud EV. The company has established partnerships with key players in Indonesia, including state-owned electricity provider, high-level universities, logistics companies, and airlines, to promote the development of a comprehensive renewable energy ecosystem.
