Nissan Electrifies North America with Mitsubishi-Mandated EV Variant

A new electric vehicle is expected to hit the market in late 2026, courtesy of a partnership between Nissan and Mitsubishi. The car will be built on a brand-new Nissan model called the Ariya.

Mitsubishi's new electric vehicle will primarily target the North American market. If production shares a powertrai system with the upcoming Ariya, then users might be able to exploit Tesla's super-fast charging network for 483km of pure-electric driving.
