Baojun Deep Blue Spotted: 3 New Models to Debut with C518

Deep Blue, Baojun's electric vehicle marque, has been making waves in the Chinese automotive scene. A series of test images have surfaced on social media platforms, showcasing three new models set to join the lineup.

According to previous reports, the three new cars are expected to be part of Deep Blue's expansion strategy and have been defined under various codenames. C518 is confirmed to be "Energetic Fun" and is rumored to be positioned below the L07 model. The latter will reportedly carry a L05 nameplate upon launch and is tipped to start at an affordable price point, potentially below 10 yuan.

Design Breakdown

The images reveal that Deep Blue's upcoming car inherits elements from its sibling S05 model. The front end will feature a longer LED light design, accompanied by a rectangular air intake on either side of the central part of the hood, drawing inspiration from the more mature L07 model. A small protrusion above the rear window is thought to accommodate a front-mounted camera instead of LIDAR technology.
