Chinese Luxury EV Starway Celestia Pure EV Unveiled for May 18 Launch

Beijing, China - Starway Automotive officially announced that their new luxury electric vehicle, the Celestia Pure EV, will hit the market on May 18. The car is positioned as a mid-sized model and was previously unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show with an initial price range of RMB 199.8 - 279.8 thousand yuan.

Exterior Features

The Starway Celestia Pure EV retains its exterior design from previous model lines, featuring a closed front grille and LED daytime driving lights that are integrated into the front bumper. The rear of the car boasts a sleek, cohesive design with LED fog lights that can display various patterns. The side mirrors and boot lid features an updated design that accentuates the car's sporty appearance.

The dimensions of the vehicle measure 4,945 x 1,978 x 1,467 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3,000mm. Other notable details include sleek front and rear bumpers.

Interior Features

Inside, the Starway Celestia Pure EV comes equipped with an expansive 8.2-inch full-screen instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating display screen that responds to touch inputs. An improved mobile charging interface by adopting high-tech charging methods.

Additional features include dual-spoke steering wheels, a wraparound glass-like ambient light, and smartphone charging sockets with quick charging capabilities.

Motor Options

Customers can choose from two motor versions: dual-motor and 4M. The dual-motor version reaches peak power output of up to 313 horsepower, while the 4M model boasts an impressive 480 horsepower. Each model is provided a matching electric battery package - A-77kWh battery pack and B-100 kWh battery pack respectively, yielding expected driving ranges of approximately 705 kilometers and 710 kilometers on CLTC certification.

All-new Celestia Pure EV from Starway will commence sales on May 18th, marking another milestone in expanding the country's advanced automotive technology capabilities.
