Lecheng Launches Upgrade Plan for LyNk OS 2025, Addressing User Concerns
A Chinese automaker, Lecheng, has announced an upgrade plan for its vehicle's in-vehicle infotainment system. The company will be rolling out patches to tackle performance issues such as lag, navigation problems, and voice assistant experiences.
As revealed by the brand, a software update, dubbed LYNK OS 2025, is scheduled to arrive later this year, addressing concerns raised by users about their onboard electronics.
According to insiders, Lecheng plans to break down its upgrade strategy into two phases. The first update will involve improvements to performance, mapping navigation, and new app additions. This iteration is expected to kick off in July with user trials, followed by a full-scale deployment later this summer.
The second stage of the upgrade aims to enhance various aspects of the vehicle’s Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Key enhancements include updates to voice assistant capabilities using artificial intelligence models as well as better display features. Furthermore, an advanced navigation system shall be integrated, offering more immersive experience and enhanced user interactions.
Key performance metrics will see a 30% boost in overall computer processing speed, addressing issues of lag within the operating system of newer vehicle models that have been paired with Lecheng's 820A/E03 processor chip set.
In addition, other notable updates include:

- Performance optimization and improvement
- New voice recognition capabilities and overall system performance boost.

A total overhaul of the user interface design will be accomplished through the use of LYNK's Flyme Auto Core.
