A recently leaked set of images has shed light on what appears to be a modern i20 electric car, sparking interest among car enthusiasts. The production-ready vehicle is expected to make its debut in August 2026.

Speculation also suggests that the new car might be an early prototype for the upcoming BJ1 EV project, tailored specifically for the European market.

Design and Features

Upfront, the car boasts a double-layered air intake grille system. Inspectors have spotted an angular profile beneath the grille, giving a glimpse into the potential shape of the vehicle's front end. The sides will likely feature additional flow channels to aid aerodynamics. The sleek LED lights create a rectangular silhouette.

On the wheels, modern five-spoke alloy wheels are expected to be sized large for optimal performance and sportiness.
