New Mercedes-Benz CLA With Extended Length Spotted in China, Set to Debut in 2025
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new model of the CLA sedan with an extended length, which is expected to be part of its lineup when it debuts next year. The vehicle is built on the Modular Multimedia Architecture (MMA) platform and will come with a range of powertrain options, including plug-in hybrid, electric, and conventional gasoline-powered variants.
The new CLA is said to adopt an end-to-end NoA city assistance feature for enhanced autonomous driving capabilities. This technology was previously showcased at the Beijing auto show where Mercedes unveiled its concept of the new generation clasa sedan. While production models are unlikely to come equipped with laser-based sensors, there's potential for both optical and sensor-based systems.
