Eastern Wind Honda's S7 SUV Embarks on Official Debut Marred by Two Trim Levels and Priced Between 25.99 and 30.99 Million Units Nominated

On the third of March, we obtained word from official channels that Eastern Wind Honda's latest offering – 'S7' has officially entered into sales.

This mid-size purely-electric SUV model is expected to be powered by a single electric motor at rear-end drive and dual-motor layout with four-wheel drive variants. Based on CLTC specifications under test cycle, an overall energy efficiency of 620 kilometers to 650 kilometers are claimed for this newly launched model.

These latest launches are equipped with AI-based high models which integrate advanced algorithms coupled with Honda Sensing system (also dubbed '360+').

Features

In terms of appearance of the Eastern Wind Honda S7 – it is equipped with a set that can be described as more modern. It includes sleek dual headlights for day and night running alongside other accessories to increase visibility and give an exclusive look to this entire unit.

The SUV body features a robust front facial profile showcasing a combination model design including a sharp turn in corners and angular lines, followed by the integration of various LED lights which contribute towards its unique appearance and aesthetic appeal. Along with that comes the availability of 7 colors – silver peak grey/ black/ white / silver peak grey/ white, with further possibilities to customize using options – orange – white.

Single electric motor rear-wheel drive model has been priced at 25.99 million units.

Double rear wheel all-wheel version costs 30.99 million units with a combined maximum output of 350 kW in front + 200 K W in rear.

It boasts maximum torque of approximately 400 Nm coupled to three-phase battery setup sourced from Ningde era, and can produce an accelerating speed of up to 100 in just 4.6 seconds.

As for electric vehicle capabilities – Ningde era built batteries with respective capacities being 89.8 KWH units will enable users with a travel distance of around 650 kilometers on single motor unit.

Dual-engine type has less journey endurance at approximately 620 kilometers

Driven by its advanced systems like Honda Sension systems and smart algorithms the newly introduced Eastern Wind electric vehicle brings in more comfort, agility as well performance.

Competitors & Comparative Review

Based on current trend – other leaders such as Molekule Baas with the help of a Chinese company’s latest offerings – has created impressive setups combining safety features. Another leading competitor that stands apart with its high-class vehicles - Xiali 7x brings to table unique features like 360 system, dual motors & electric motors driving.

So much so that at times, this competition presents challenges for Eastern wind cars but still very encouraging as well when compared across all the variants launched recently in the market place.
