Eastern Wind Nissan06 Makes Public Debut at 2025 Shanghai Auto Show
The Eastern Wind Nissan06, a compact pure-electric SUV based on the Quantum Architecture 3 platform, debuted at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Exhibition. The new vehicle will begin pre-orders on April 28th and aims to be launched in the second quarter of this year.
A limited number of the vehicles is already available for test drives, with interested buyers able to visit nearby Eastern Wind Nissan dealerships for an experience.
Key Features
Exterior Design
The Eastern Wind Nissan06 boasts a new design language marked by the use of the brand's "Double Fly Eagle" logo as inspiration. The vehicle features seven-shaped LED daytime running lights on either side, showcasing its cutting-edge tech aspects. The front face adopts a closed-frame design, with silver accents below, topped off by two individual LED spotlights. It features six available exterior colors: Wavy White, Infinite Silver, Orange Spark, Wilderness Green, Golden Yellow, and Sonic Black.
Body Style
From the side, it's easy to spot double-colored wheels accompanied by intricate faceplate designs for an unmistakable appearance. The rear end is dominated by a 'U' shaped LED light pattern, where each light projects specific indicators for the turning signal in order to provide clear warnings to following vehicles.
The size of the vehicle includes 4306mm * 1868mm * 1645mm with a wheelbase distance of 2715mm.
Interior Space
Interior-wise, it is equipped with Yutian's advanced cockpit interior technology following on from the Tianshi large model and extensive training using hundreds of possible drive scenarios to enhance comfort for drivers. A wide array of interior color schemes are available including smart gray, moss and orange mica to name just a few. Additionally, key safety features like airbag, ABS brake, ISOFIX seat mounting systems etc are featured. A multi-screen instrument panel and large steering wheel complement a three-part middle seat tray and storage space galore across twenty-one locations at our disposal.
Advanced Technology
The Eastern Wind Nissan06 incorporates Eastern Quantum's most advanced Intelligent Assistance System and features smart lane guidance navigation, automatic city route memory mode, and intelligent reverse parking function.
Competition
The Eastern Wind Nissan06 faces stiff competition in the form of two newer electric SUV newcomers:
- The BYD MUX.
- ANDA X Plus.
BYD MUX follows similar basic design but extends by 100mm as a longitudinal side comparison. While boasting greater flexibility, at its core it carries slightly less space and offers inferior maneuverability for overall operation. Conversely the ANDA X Plus stands out from the crowd due to more extreme shape characteristics despite smaller overall scale.
