Red Flag HS9 PHEV platform car successfully tested
A successful testing of the Red Flag HS9 PHEV (platform codename: P701) has been achieved. The new vehicle previously debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show and is expected to be launched within 2025.
The new car features a fresh design language, adopting a closed grille configuration alongside a straight-forward aerodynamic treatment, accompanied by a central vertical emblem showcasing Red Flag's signature family style while incorporating elements of its new energy attributes. The side profile presents an asymmetrical appearance with the use of a downward slope to create an immediate impression.
To further differentiate the vehicle from other cars in its class, a choice of double-tone color combinations and optional disc-style wheel designs will be available for customization. Other design features include a distinct "double-slope" element for the side skirt that reinforces the car's identity.
Under the hood, the Red Flag HS9 PHEV is equipped with a 2.0T hybrid power unit combined with dual electric motors. Other notable highlights of the vehicle include the incorporation of an all-wheel drive system, line-control steering assistance, and advanced safety features.
In addition to a spacious interior capable of seating either six or seven occupants depending on configuration, the car will boast ergonomic zero-gravity seating, climate-controlled atmosphere systems, and an integrated navigation system. The Red Flag HS9 PHEV is set to provide an enticing new take on electric vehicles and their practicality in everyday life.
