On May 27, officials from Geely Automobile announced that the brand's two pickup truck models, Radar Kong EM-P and Radar Horizon EM-P will officially debut on May 28. According to the company's release, both electric and hybrid variants are based on the newly developed native M.A.P.Radar HorizonSea Platform and support the God EM-P Super Electric Hybrid System.
Both models aim to cater to outdoor users by providing a practical solution for navigating rough terrains, long-distance drives, and mountainous regions.
Although no official pictures of the Radar Horizon EM-P variant are available at this time, it is speculated that its design may resemble existing variant's. This model is expected to retain a robust appearance featuring LED headlights reminiscent of current SUV trends. Upon closer inspection, a modernized rear-end design features an X-shaped LED tail-lamp configuration.
Measurements of the new pickup units show: 5260mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1830mm in height, with a total vehicle length of 3120mm. In terms of payload compartment measurements, we have dimensions ranging from 1525x1450x540mm and an enclosed cargo capacity of up to 1200L.
Electric power generation currently remains under wraps; the available information from references suggests that future variants will utilize 1.5T diesel motors combining with electric hybrid technology, featuring a powerful engine output of 163 horsepower combined with electrical capabilities reaching 218 horsepower.
