Bad at First Sight? Meet the Newly Launched BAIC Sea God 07 DM-i, with Its Impressive Active Laser Radar and Face-Lift Upgrade

Baidu's New Fendoo 07 DM-i Model Unveiled with Enhancedfront Face Design

The Chinese government's department of industry and information technology has released new pictures of the revamped Fendoo 07 DM-i model.

The updated version of the car features a revised front face, primarily focusing on simplifying the design. More specifically, the side air vents have been removed, and the front headlights feature an optimized shape to create a sleeker appearance while maintaining better airflow.

Additionally, a high-level light ray (激光雷达) has been integrated into the frontal design of the car, enabling future models equipped with such advanced systems will offer intelligent driving capabilities in urban areas. The side profile is largely unchanged from its predecessor and retains the classic design of Fendoo family-style taillight elements.

The updated length and width are significantly wider due to a larger front end piece while maintaining some similarity in its overall height. On the whole, all parts share consistent proportions. Its wheelbase maintains a distance as well where one dimension increased by 15 millimeters compared with the original vehicle in terms of length and added five millimeters in total.

The car will still come equipped to offer electric-assisted driving. Motor power has remained constant at this point, yet the upgraded model now features larger front-end sections that generate more power from its two engine options: 1.5L gasoline-electric hybrid as well as one 1.5T version - both combined by turbo technology giving maximum horsepower values of 115 kW and 200 kW respectively.
