Chinese SUV YuanJia 7 Set for Release on May 22, Priced Between 30-40 Million yuan
The highly anticipated Small Red Book (SRB) has confirmed that the highly-anticipated new product, including phone SoC chip, Xiaomi Glacial 1, Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi Tablet 7 Ultra, and the brand's first SUV, Xiaomi YuanJia 7, will be released on May 22.
The news sources confirm that the Xiaomi YuanJia 7 is the Chinese word "御車" which means "Land Warship, traveling by Wind". The SUV will officially hit the market in June or July this year and will have a price range of 30-40 million yuan.
According to previous rumors and speculations, the design language of the Xiaomi YuanJia 7 is deeply rooted in its family lineage. Subtle gunhead-shaped lamps combine with multi-layered lenses that add flair to the vehicle's overall appearance. Similarly, an expansive size front grille is paired with a dual-flared airflow channel on the side.
Moving left to the profile view of this new SUV design showcases sharp, curvy lines combined with large wheel arches and elongated cars. With smooth and fluid curves, it has become quite recognizable and well-defined.
As you move left and look at the rear part of Xiaomi YuanJia 7, similar tail lamp elements are adopted from their predecessors. As a result, thanks to some SUV improvements in terms of height, it makes this car design look more rounded.
Dimensionally, that SUV completed filing submissions prior with the public Security Department and dimensions include length: 4999mm, width: 1996mm, high: 1600mm, while AXI distance covers 3000mm.
The interior layout combines previous releases of large screens mounted to hover above, along with multi-functional steering wheels that provide an intuitive driver's experience. A ring-shaped projection screen offers comprehensive information feedback which is almost like driving High-Definition Display (HUD).
In terms of electric drives, this new car model adopts a single and dual-power-electric machine configuration, while its combined motor power stands at 508kW; high-speed capabilities range from 253 to 240 km/h.
