Baidu Rolls Out Discount Offers for Qin L and QinPLUS DM-i Smart Vehicles

A limited-time promotion has been launched by Baidu for its Qin L and QinPLUS DM-i smart vehicles. The offer, which will run until June 30th, provides buyers with attractive incentives to purchase the two models.

Qin L DM-i owners can enjoy 10,000 yuan in cash discounts, as well as a maximum of 10,000 yuan in additional installation allowances, with prices starting at just 7.98 yuan for the most affordable model. QinPLUS DM-i drivers will be rewarded with a similar cash discount, accompanied by an additional 6,000 yuan in instalment assistance, and starting prices begin at 6.38 yuan.

Both vehicles come equipped with Baidu's fifth-generation DriveMaker (DM) technology, as well as advanced safety features, including the SkyEye C driver assistance system. The SkyEye C system boasts a robust hardware specification, rivaling its competition in terms of performance and capabilities.

In terms of performance, QinPLUS DM-i is powered by a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid (PHEV) engine producing a maximum output of 74 kilowatts. Alongside the electric motor, an advanced energy recovery system enhances efficiency with significant improvements on fuel consumption.

On the other hand, QinL DM-i features a fifth-generation DriveMaker system, pairing its internal combustion engine with the electric motor for increased overall performance and efficiency. The powertrain yields impressive fuel economy values with 2.9 liters of gasoline consumed over each hundred kilometers, according to NEDC regulations.
