New Generation of Smart Sedans: PSG7 by Polestar to Debut in June
The CEO of Polestar, Thomas Ingall, has revealed that the company's new G7 smart sedan will be unveiled in June. This new car model is expected to focus on both intelligent features and spaciousness. Moreover, it will incorporate various cutting-edge technologies that are yet to be seen before.
Previously, the new car has been showcased with promotional images and has been submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for approval. According to reports, the market price of the G7 is expected to fall within 25,000 yuan (approximately $3,600 USD).
Upon an examination of the new sedan, it's noticeable that Polestar has applied the brand's familiar design aesthetic across its lineup. The G7 sports a sleek and aerodynamic LED-lit front grill with three LED strips embedded underneath. Additionally, the side profile features rounded lines while integrating hidden door handles. The rear area highlights streamlined wind deflection to improve airflow.

Polestar has announced more details regarding its G7 sedan at the time of the official unveiling. As per reports from Chinese government documents, the dimensions are as follows - length: 4892mm, width: 1925mm with a vertical height of 1655mm and overall track length: 2890mm.
Polestar has confirmed to submit the driving unit configuration for a single electric motor that could yield power outputs up to 218 kW. Further notable details mentioned include optimal vehicle limits - ranging from 202km/h for the ultimate drive, as determined by speed sensors within the vehicle itself, and battery arrangements featuring lithium-iron phosphate batteries sourced from reliable producers around China.
