Revamped Outside-In Jeep Grand Cherokee Leaked Photos Promising Fuel-Efficient Hybrid Power

Jeep Cherokee Mid-Generation Facelift Spotted Online

A series of leaked images has revealed a mid-generation facelift for the upcoming Jeep Cherokee, a full-size sport utility vehicle (SUV). The updated model is expected to debut with refined exterior and interior designs.

The exterior redesign primarily focuses on the areas surrounding the front grille. The new openings feature a sophisticated grid pattern, while a more angular lower air intake and maintained seven-slot grid design are carried over from the current variant. The LED headlights retain their signature design language from the previous iteration.

Upon examining the side profile of the vehicle, two key upgrades become apparent – a fresh set of multi-spoke wheels with an aggressive, aerodynamic flair and a darker headlamp treatment that helps minimize visual weight. On the D-pillar side, changes see the iconic feline-inspired front end modified to give it a more angular appearance.

The rear end largely remains unchanged but does witness a notable absence of the aforementioned mesh strip running from the middle of both headlights.

Steping inside, this vehicle boasts an entirely new car infotainment system, providing users with larger display resolution without the compromising on traditional tactile controls that were present previously. The presence of more touch displays and their strategic placement around the driver cabin has improved user experience. Overall, several core systems are carried forward from its predecessor.

Powertrain-wise, speculation points toward a less powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine being phased out in favor of a newer 2.0-liter turbocharged configuration on all variants. Meanwhile, the 4xe hybrid iteration is expected to receive an extensive update as well.

More details about the new Cherokee will be scrutinized closely by automotive enthusiasts and industry observers alike.
