Levet L90 Electric SUV to Debut on July 10, Price Starting at Under $300,000
Beijing, China - Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Levet announced that it will be launching the highly anticipated L90 electric SUV on July 10. During a live broadcast with CEO Wu Xiaobo, Li Bin revealed that the L90 would start selling in stores nationwide starting from July 10 and would have more than 500 exhibition cars transported to ensure comprehensive coverage across all stores.
In addition to this announcement, Levet also announced its expansion of production in the second half of the year. The L30 and L80 models will join forces with the L90, marking a significant milestone for the brand. These new models are primarily designed as large-scale pure electric SUVs.
The exterior design of the Levet L90 largely adheres to family-style designs with notable highlights such as "starry star shine's" intelligent interactive pixels on headlights, making them easily recognizable and distinguishable from others in its class.
Upon entering the front boot area of the vehicle, it can accommodate 240 liters worth of space and can be loaded with two sets of 20 inch luggage boxes (including a child seat and an adult-sized suitcase), two sets of luggage boxes measuring 26 inches, or only one set at 30 inches. Furthermore, it enjoys an incredibly low ground clearance with just 600 millimeters under the roof, thanks to a door opening width of 830 millimeters that easily allows for effortless entry and exits.
The front boot also has full-electrically operated operation with intelligent kickstart functions, allowing users to launch vehicles by tapping on the lock in designated ranges. In addition to various touch-keyboard, mobile-app and Bluetooth key, voice commands systems, users can also launch the vehicle using the car's large screen display.
Looking at the side profile of the Levet L90 you can see it has an overall dimension of 514519981766mm & axle length 3110mm. It is equipped with two cameras on top which would be indicative of a fully visual-drive scheme, and notable too was its adoption of front/rear off-set tires known as the "Ying Ying" pattern.
On the rear end, we see it having robust D pillars that present good strength and power. Its lighting design also uses pixel-intelligent interaction technologies similar to headlights. Furthermore, all versions will come equipped with dynamic electric pedals, air suspension systems and more.
The L90 gets a full 900V-wide-range truer technology driving system, with the possibility of both rear-wheel drive (RWD), four-wheel drive (4WD) setups - RWD cars will have a maximum motor power of 340kW, while 4WD cars will get their motors capped at 100/340kW in front & rear respectively. It has an integrated 85 kilowatt-battery which users can select according to preferences (Phosphate-iron or three-axis lithium), and there is also room for upgrade at a later date if needed.
When launched, we anticipate that this Levet model could see significant competition within the growing electric SUV segment across China.
